    Q:What ages is Matatalab product designed for?

    A:Matatalab robot is a kids-friendly education product designed for kids over 4 years old. It includes basic Coding set package, Musician Add-on package, and Artist Add-on package. The contents are suitable for students from kindergarten to primary school ages.


    Q: What product quality certifications does Matatalab product have?

    A:Matatalab robot has passed China CCC certification, EU EN71 and CE certification, American FCC and ASTM F963-16 certification, Japanese TELEC and PSE certification.


    Q:Does Matatalab product require the internet?
    A:No, just turn it on and start your adventure.


    Q:What is the working principle of the Matatalab educational robot? Is the control tower and robot connected via Bluetooth?

    A:The control tower uses image recognition technology to identify the information of the coding blocks and then transmits it to the robot via Bluetooth.


    Q:Is any basic coding skills required?
    A:No, kids do not need any basic coding experience or reading experience.


    Q:What preparation is required before use? Is assembly required?
    A:No assembly required! No APP required! You can play with it as soon as you unpack it.


    Q:How to get a quick instruction for using the product?
    A:The User Guide can help you quickly understand how to use the product. Moreover, kids can use the challenge booklets to learn independently.


    Q:Does Matatalab robot need batteries?
    A:No. Matatalab products use built-in lithium batteries inside, and it's rechargeable.


    Q:How long do the products need for recharging? How long do the batteries last?
    A:Average charging time: The control tower needs 4 hours and the MatataBot needs 2 hours.
    Average usage time: Both of the Control tower and MatataBot can work continuously for 4~6 hours.

    Q:How sturdy is Matatalab product?
    A:Both the control tower and the MatataBot have passed the EN71 safety assessment test and the drop test.


    Q: Is there a warranty?
    A:The warranty period for the product is one year.
    The following circumstances will void the free warranty:
    Not able to provide this warranty certificate and valid invoice.
    This warranty is unilaterally modified or incompatible with the product.
    Natural consumption/ wear and aging of consumable parts.
    Damage caused by lightning or other electrical system problems.
    Damage caused by improper use, such as external force, damage, etc.
    Damage caused by force majeure factors such as accidents/ disasters.
    Self-dismantled/ reassembled/ repaired products.
    Product exceeds the warranty period.
    Abuse or misuse, including but not solely limited to the failure to use this product beyond the user manual.


    Q:How many maps does the Matatalab product set have?
    A:The Matatalab product set includes one double-sided map with two adventure themes.

    After-sales FAQ

    Q:My Matatalab robot has stopped working.
    A:First,confirm control tower and MatataBot have been turned on and established the connection, and use them under the light that is suitable for reading.
    If you can't switch on or build a connection successfully, please charge them and try again.
    If it’s still not working after the above operation, please contact support@matatalab.com for further help.


    Q:Is there any way to quickly pair control tower and MatataBot, when the Bluetooth failed to connect?
    A: When the Bluetooth is disconnected, the control tower and robot will automatically reconnect in 10s when they are close to each other. If the connection is still not built, please turn off the machine and restart the control tower and MatataBot.


    Q:Can I design my own map? Is there any requirement for the material?
    A:We encourage users to create their own maps. The material of the map is not limited. You can use paper, cloth, plastic cloth etc. Users need to make sure that the grid size must be 10cm*10cm to match the movement of the MatataBot.


    Q: Help, My Matatalab robot doesn’t turn the correct angles!

    A: There will be ±2° errors when the MatataBot turns. If you find the angel errors becomes too big, like 10° or above, you are available to adjust the turning angle following the steps below.

    1. After the connection between the Command Tower and the MatataBot established, place the coding blocks on the Control Board according to the way shown here (From left to right, calling function blocks, target blocks, random movement, move forward, calling function blocks).

    2. Then press the start button, the MatataBot will execute the command of the target block, the adjustment is done. Every adjustment will increase/reduce by 1.5°.

    If you do the wrong adjustment, you could press the on/off button for 20s to turn off the MatataBot, it will be reset.

    E.g. When you find the MatataBot turns smaller angle than 45° when it comes with 45° angle blocks, you could place the coding blocks like the way here.

    Just replace your target angle block under left turn or right turn block to adjust the angle.

    School Use

    Q:How does Matatalab product match classroom teaching?
    A:In the classroom, we recommend that every four students use one product set for group learning. The product is not only suitable for classroom group teaching, but also for area activities and after-school classrooms.

    Q:How do teachers get guidance and help? How to get teaching guidance resources?
    A:We have Teachers’ Guide with detailed lesson plans for Matatalab educational robot to help teachers to easily get into teaching. Please let us know if you need a teacher's guidebook when you purchase the products.

    Q:Can multiple robots and control towers be used in the same classroom? Is it possible that mutual interference or matching errors occur?
    A:Yes. And the mutual interference or the matching error will not occur.

To help us deliver ads (remarketing), measure their performance, and make them more relevant to you based on criteria like your activity in our application we use cookies and pixels to tailor ads and measure their performance. Using these technologies, we can show you ads and evaluate their effectiveness. This helps us provide high-quality ads and content that might be more interesting to you.
•	• If you would like to change the way we collect data about you in Twitter, visit Twitter account settings, Do Not Track browser setting, and the opt-out choices of Twitter’s ads.
